About Opportune Professional Development
Our Story
Opportune came into being because we were corporate L&D professionals or people who could not find an answer to our training needs. We wanted impact and tangible outcomes for our staff, but there was nothing in the market which matched our expectations, so we created it.
Sitting at the heart of everything we do, is a deeply held belief that education enriches lives. In our role, sometimes, we encourage people by formally acknowledging the learnings they have achieved, in others we undertake to help them increase their learning.
It is through learning that we find our place in the world, can provide for ourselves but most importantly that we feel more confident and comfortable in our abilities. Learning delivers knowledge but it also fosters self belief and we think that is pretty cool.
We help businesses lift capability and improve results through the development of their greatest asset, their staff.

Where most businesses in our sector measure performance on volume of participants who start programs, we measure by qualifications achieved. That is why we have coaches, out of hours mentoring and one-on-one support.

Our belief that education makes a lifetime of difference has taken us to Fiji working with underprivileged children to fund school and university education. Our vision is that every child can realise their potential and live their very best life. Down time and annual leave at Opportune is dedicated to this mission.
