Briefing Session: Infrastructure Skills Legacy Program (ISLP)
Understand what the new mandatory ISLP rules mean for your business
The Western Sydney Business Chamber is pleased to invite you to a special webinar with The Hon. Dr Geoff Lee MP, Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education.
The NSW State Government has introduced the Infrastructure Skills Legacy Program (ISLP), effective 1 July 2020. The ISLP is now a mandatory requirement for all major NSW Government infrastructure projects. This program is designed to capitalise on the unprecedented infrastructure investment, to boost the number of skilled workers and create fresh pathways to employment across the state.
ISLP Briefing Session
- When: Friday, 4 December, 2020
- Time: 12:30pm -1:30pm
- Format: Webinar
- Cost: FREE
The Minister is joined by Peter Gilchrist, General Manager of Apprenticeship Support Australia who will explain how the ISLP relates to trades, and Rachelle Matousek, Founding Director of Opportune, to explain how the ISLP can be met with training outside of trade apprenticeships.
The panel will also detail some of the generous federal and state-based incentives, rebates and subsidies available which can assist in meeting the ISLP mandates.
We hope you can join us at this essential webinar for anyone looking to secure government infrastructure projects in NSW.
